Writing: Teague Eaton (Year 8)
This month, 30 students from Years 7 to 9 went on a training day to learn about the Princess Diana Anti-Bullying Ambassador Program. During this day we were taught how to spot bullying, deal with bullying and also different types of bullying. Some of these types were cyber-bullying, physical bullying and mental bullying, all of which have a great impact on anyone that comes into contact with them. Since that day the Welfare Ambassadors have had regular meetings about what to do in school in the future and also have conducted a whole-school survey that asked questions on what bullying means to students at Challoner's, and also where and when they feel likely to encounter bullying. The Welfare Ambassador group will continue to work supporting students who are dealing with bullying and give them advice on how to get rid of any bullying in their lives.
