GCSE Results 2025

The publication of GCSE results today is a stepping stone for our year 11 students, and we celebrate their achievements and efforts with them. We are pleased to report a large number of success stories, with students achieving strong grades across the whole curriculum. Two thirds of all qualifications taken were graded 7 or better, and 40 students achieved a clean sweep of grades at that level. Whilst celebrating these achievements we also recognise the unusual challenges this group of students have faced through their education. The disruption of the pandemic affected this year group’s transition from primary school to secondary school, meaning they didn’t experience important milestones earlier in their schooling. As they now complete their GCSEs and prepare for the next steps in their education we should all acknowledge their journey, and the unique set of challenges they have experienced. Despite this they have shown resilience and ambition in their pursuit of their own ambitions, and deserve recognition for that.
