Over the last week, the Year 9 students at Dr Challoner's Grammar School have been to Stratford on a geography trip. This trip was a great opportunity to practice geographical skills on the streets of East London. We visited the Olympic Park and the surrounding communities to discover how the Olympics have affected Stratford and East London, for better or for worse.

Despite the rain, we were still able to smile and explore the area. However, it was a relief to enjoy our lunch inside the Olympic velodrome in the dry, before exploring more industrial and residential areas of Stratford whilst asking for people’s opinions and rating the quality of the surrounding areas in many different places across Stratford. Overall, it was great fun and a great geography trip to London with our teachers and friends.
