Year 8 and Year 9 students and many other members of the school community have been involved with making and glazing 400 ceramic fish.

They are currently being installed in the Quad at the heart of the school representing a school of students and the flow of knowledge over the past 400 years.

The fish also highlight the importance of the chalk streams in the Chilterns including the stream flowing behind the original school. Fish hold significance in many cultures around the world and we will encourage students to undertake research and make a personal connection.

We were grateful to have received sponsorship/support from the Amersham Arts Society which enabled us to purchase the clay.
