This term, the Year 9 cohort has been studying Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, a love story between two opposing families that eventually ends with death. To expand the GCSE learning, the English team hosted a play in the hall to expand our knowledge of the story. This was much enjoyed by the whole of the year because it gave us the chance to be one of the characters on stage.
Thank you to the English Department for organising this and allowing us to develop a further understanding of the text in an interesting method and away from the classroom.
